WHAT: Hearts and Hammers will join a community of volunteers in Bowness to help Calgarians with mobility challenges (particularly seniors) with outdoor yard clean-up work. Typical chores include:

  • raking leaves
  • other yard clean-up work

WHERE: Community of Bowness in Calgary
WHEN: We will working Fridays in October, on these dates:

  • Friday, 7 October 2016 - 9:00 AM.
  • Friday, 21 October 2016 - 9:00 AM.
WHO: Seniors living in Bowness 'or persons' with mobility challenges
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • must live in community of Bowness
  • must be a senior (or an individual) with mobility challenges
  • need help with yard clean-up
  • must read, understand and sign off on waiver
